Rental houses
Stock that is broken is stock that is not earning. We run repair loops for rental houses so damaged tiles and fixtures come back into the hire fleet instead of stacking up in a corner of the warehouse.
What usually goes wrong
Every dry hire comes back with something wrong with it, and the pile grows faster than anybody has time to work through. Nine times out of ten the units in that pile are economic to repair, and the reason they are still sitting there is capacity, not cost.
