LED screen repair
Pitches and makes we take in
If it is an LED panel and the pitch is 1.6mm or coarser, it can come to the bench. Below that the modules stop being field serviceable and start being a factory job, and we will tell you that rather than take the work.

Pixel pitches, indoor and outdoor
Pitch is the distance between the centre of one pixel and the next, in millimetres, and it is the number that decides whether a module can be worked on at all. Written as P2.6 on most product labels.
Fine pitch indoor
1.6mm to 2.6mm
Broadcast sets, corporate stages, high end retail. Dense enough that a single dead pixel is visible from the front row, and the repairs are done under a microscope.
Indoor rental and touring
2.6mm to 3.9mm
The bulk of what comes back to us after a season. Transport damage, dead clusters and receiving card faults, usually across a batch rather than one panel.
Outdoor rental and events
3.9mm to 6.9mm
Weather, heat and water ingress on top of the usual mechanical damage. Sealing and gasket condition matters as much as the electronics.
Large format and fixed outdoor
6.9mm to 10mm and coarser
Long throw screens and permanent installs. Often on site work rather than send in, because the screen is bolted to a building.

These are the makes we see most, not a list of what we accept. The faults are the same faults whoever built it, so if yours is not here, send a photograph of the back of it and we will tell you straight.
Questions we hear a lot
Do you repair panels below 1.6mm pitch?
Rarely, and we will say so before you ship anything. Under about 1.6mm the LED packages are small enough that reworking one without disturbing its neighbours needs factory tooling. We will look at the module and give you an honest answer rather than attempt it and hand back something worse.
My panels are a brand you have not listed. Can you still help?
Almost certainly. The list is what we see most, not what we accept. Panel construction varies far less than the badge suggests, and the faults are the same faults: drivers, receiving cards, ribbons, connectors and water. Send a photograph of the back of a module and we will tell you.
Are you an approved service centre for these manufacturers?
No, and we do not claim to be. We are an independent repair bench. That means we are not bound to swap a whole board where a component will do, which is usually why work reaches us in the first place.
Can you match modules across batches?
We can tell you whether they will match, which is the more useful answer. Panels from different production runs can differ in brightness and colour even at the same part number, and a repaired module that reads slightly warm on a wall is a repair nobody thanks you for.
How it reaches us
Send it in
Ship it or drop it off. It comes back tested, with a written report of what was found and what was done.
How send in worksWe come to you
Installed screens, rigged fixtures, or a warehouse of stock that cannot all go in a van. We bring the bench.
How on site worksWho we do this for
Rental houses
Stock that is broken is stock that is not earning. We run repair loops for rental houses so damaged tiles and fixtures come back into the hire fleet instead of stacking up in a corner of the warehouse.
Rental houses repairsProduction companies
Between shows there is a window, and it is never long enough. We work to the calendar you are actually on, not to a queue position.

Most church AV is run by volunteers who inherited it. We service and repair it, and we explain what we found in plain words rather than handing over a spec sheet.
